Senior Elixir Developer
About the role
Erlang Solutions is looking for an experienced Senior Elixir Developer to join our team in Poland (Kraków).
Location: Remote first, based in Poland
Reports to: Business Unit Leader, Poland
Skills & Experience:
• Minimum 8 years of experience as an Elixir Developer
• Strong knowledge of Elixir, Phoenix and OTP
• Experience working with Git and Linux environments
• Practical knowledge of SQL databases, like PostgreSQL and MySQL
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to task execution
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and share knowledge within a team
• High level of independence, responsibility, and results-oriented mindset
Nice to have:
- Experience building applications with Phoenix LiveView
- Familiarity with React or Vue.js
- Knowledge of TypeScript
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases, like MongoDB, Redis
- Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes
Responsibilities:
- Develop reliable, secure and scalable software systems tailored to customer needs
- Provide technical input to support project planning and estimation
- Advise customers on architecture, technologies and best practices
- Troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues in customer environments
- Participate in code reviews and share knowledge with team members
