Collaborating with product managers, designers, and clients, you will lead discussions on better ways to problem solve and deliver features to our clients and their users. Your experience and level of confidence in decision making and the quality of your work ensure commitment to MojoTech's engineering excellence.3+ years experience building complex applicationsBA/BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experienceA passion for software engineering and application infrastructureUnderstanding of version control (Git) and code documentationA strong desire to improve yourself and those around youShould also be able to check off some of this:Capacity to design and implement efficient RESTful APIs and microservicesExperience scaling applications with containers and container orchestration frameworksProficiency with Python, Ruby on Rails, Elixir, NodeJS, and/or front-end MVC frameworksFamiliarity with mobile development; Android or iOSExposure to leadership or mentorship roles, particularly on a development teamExperience working in an agency, as a software consultant, or tailoring solutions to match client requirements and capabilityAbility to formulate and communicate opinions on what makes software good or bad to both technical and business client stakeholdersPreviously built and deployed 12-factor apps as part of a collaborative project teamContributed to open source projects or presented at a conferenceLocated in RI, MA, CT, NY, NJ, NC, SC, FL, CO, CA, UT, OR, PA, TNBenefitsBase salary $80-140kPerformance based end of year bonusMedical, Dental, FSA401k with 4% matchTrust-based time offCatered lunches when in office5 hours a week of self-directed, non-client workDog Friendly OfficesRemote or in office (offices in Boulder, CO and Providence, RI)Paid conference attendance/yearly education stipendCustom workstation6 weeks parental leave
