Job title: Senior Backend Engineer/ Elixir
Job description:
- 5+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer in cross-functional, agile environments.
- Strong engineering fundamentals and a track record of shipping production systems that are secure, reliable, and scalable.
- Strong proficiency in Elixir for backend development.
- Hands-on experience with Phoenix Framework, building robust and scalable services.
- Solid SQL skills and experience with Postgres, including schema design and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in REST API design and microservices architecture within cloud environments (preferably AWS).
- CI/CD experience (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins or similar).
- Excellent communication skills in English (B2/C1) and Polish, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
Nice to have:

Kubernetes, Docker, AWS.

Next.js, React / Vue / Angular.

Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).

Ability to lead technical workshops or mentor junior developers.

Salary range: 19,500 - 26,500 PLN net/month B2B

What the successful job applicant will be working on:
- Design and maintain server-side applications with a focus on high availability and scalability.
- Collaborate in a product trio, working closely with designers and product managers to ship impactful features.
- Drive technical excellence by promoting best practices in code quality, security, and automated testing.
- Proactively troubleshoot and optimize existing systems to ensure top-tier performance.
- Stay curious – research emerging technologies and help us innovate our tech stack.
- Practical experience designing or adopting agentic/automation workflows and improving them through iteration.
- Ability to think in systems: define specs clearly, break down plans, instrument verification, and close the loop on quality.
