Role Description

This is a contract remote role for a Robotics Engineer. The primary responsibilities will include designing and implementing robotic systems, developing software for automation, and using analytical skills to troubleshoot and optimize robotics processes. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design innovative automation solutions and ensuring efficient operations through refined technical strategies.

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with 5–8+ years of experience in building fault-tolerant distributed systems for a fast-paced robotics and warehouse automation environment.

🔹 What We’re Looking For:

✔ Strong experience with Erlang or Elixir/Gleam

✔ Expertise in BEAM concurrency, message passing & supervision model

✔ Hands-on experience in system design & microservices architecture

✔ Strong knowledge of SQL/RDBMS

✔ Experience with cloud platforms and containerized environments

✔ Ability to build scalable, highly available systems

🔹 Nice to Have:

• Robotics orchestration or real-time automation systems exposure

• Experience with Java, Python, or Go

• Startup or fast-scaling environment experience

• Interest in system scalability, optimization & fault
